Dalhousie University awards awards depending on the scholarship program to which you apply, these are some of them:
Indigenous Postgraduate: This covers two (2) years of a complete master’s and doctoral course, valued at between $15,000 per year.
Pre-doctoral Killam Level 1: Available for the master’s course, it covers up to two (2) years of preparation and costs $45,000 annually for national and international students. It also offers relocation allowance and tuition fees.
Pre-doctoral Killam Level 2: Available for the doctoral course, covers up to three (3) years of preparation and provides $45,000 annually for national and international students.
Nova Scotia Graduate: Available for the master’s course, awards an award of $10,000 annually for two (2) years. Likewise, it covers a doctoral course of up to four (4) years of preparation and provides $15,000 annually for national and international students.
Vitamin Scholarship (Doctorate): Available for the doctoral course, it covers up to two (2) years of preparation and provides $21,000 annually for national and international students.
Vitamina Scholarship (Master’s): Available for the master’s course, it covers up to one (1) year of preparation and provides $19,000 for national and international students.

- Present a clear and precise research proposal.
- Having a good command of the English language, it is necessary to provide a certificate thereof.
- Complete formal registration through Dalhousie University‘s online entry system.
