Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) 2024

The Shanghai Government of China offers a full scholarship called (SGS) for international students to guarantee a completely free education on Asian soil. Each year the Government of Shanghai selects 40 students who demonstrate high-level abilities to benefit from this award of excellence.

The full-world scholarship seeks to reach all corners of the world and find young people interested in immersing themselves in the culture and diversity of China while training in a first-world academic environment. SGS has the support of various universities, each student has the opportunity to select the institution depending on the area or field of interest.

Four (4) year bachelor’s degree, two (2) to three (3) year master’s degree, and four (4) year full-time doctorate in any available field or area.

About the Scholarship

The Shanghai Government scholarship will allocate the following prizes:

• Full university tuition.
• Free accommodation.
• Monthly stipend, which varies depending on the degree program selected.
• Health insurance.

Conditions that participants must meet:

• Be an international student.
• It is important not to exceed the age limit for each program: Bachelor’s degree (under 25 years old and have a high school degree), master’s degree (under 35 years old and have an undergraduate degree), PhD (under 40 years old and have a master’s degree).
• You must not be enrolled in any other scholarship or academic support program.
• To have good health.
• Submit a formal China Scholarship registration in full through the online entry system of the Shanghai Government website.
